PDPL Disclosure and Privacy Policy

At Gillario, we attach importance to the security of your personal data. This text has been prepared in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 ("KVKK") to inform you, in our capacity as the data controller, about the purposes for which your personal data is processed, how it is stored, and your rights regarding this data.

1. Data Controller

Your personal data is processed in accordance with the PDPL by Gillario (Isparta Workshop & Showroom) in the capacity of data controller. Contact: info@gillario.com

2. Personal Data Processed

Identity data: First name, last name.
Contact data: E-mail address, phone number, delivery and billing address.
Customer transaction data: Order information, purchased products, return and exchange records.
Transaction security data: IP address, device and browser information, cookie records.
Financial data: Payment method information (card details are not stored by us; they are processed by the payment infrastructure provider in compliance with PCI-DSS).

3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Creation, preparation, shipping, and delivery of orders,
Fulfillment of obligations arising from the distance sales contract and relevant legislation,
Execution of return, exchange, warranty, and customer support processes,
Execution of invoicing and accounting procedures,
Transmission of campaign, new product, and workshop announcements, provided that you have given your explicit consent,
Ensuring site security and creating evidence for legal disputes.

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be transferred to cargo and logistics companies for the purpose of delivering your order, to payment institutions for the purpose of carrying out payment transactions, to authorized public institutions and organizations within the scope of legal obligations, and to hosting and e-commerce infrastructure providers for technical infrastructure services, under the conditions stipulated in Articles 8 and 9 of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK). Your data will not be sold or rented to third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Collection Method and Legal Basis

Your personal data is collected in an electronic environment through our website, contact forms, e-mail, and telephone channels. Processing activities are based on the legal grounds of establishment and performance of a contract, fulfillment of a legal obligation, legitimate interest, and explicit consent when necessary.

6. Retention Period

Your personal data is stored for the duration required by the purpose of processing and taking into account the maximum periods stipulated in the relevant legislation (in particular, the 10-year retention obligation regarding commercial books and documents). At the end of this period, the data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

8. Your Rights Under the KVKK

To request correction if it is processed incompletely or incorrectly,
To request its deletion or destruction within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK),
To request that the third parties to whom the correction, deletion, or destruction processes were transferred be notified,
To object to a result emerging against you due to it being analyzed exclusively by automatic systems,
To request the compensation of damages in case you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
