Gillario was founded on the idea of creating products that stand the test of time. The one thing that has remained unchanged since that day: every bag is hand-stitched in our workshop, piece by piece.

The two materials we use form the backbone of our brand. The first is genuine vegetable-tanned full-grain cowhide leather—a natural surface that stretches, softens, and develops a unique patina over time. The second is 16oz water-repellent waxed canvas—a fabric that provides a natural barrier against light rain and gains more character as the years go by. When bringing these two materials together, we use the traditional saddle stitching technique: a double-needle, hand-thrown stitch that neither breaks nor unravels. Our buckles are solid brass, and our zippers are YKK; both are chosen not for short-term use, but for a lifetime.

At Gillario, our design philosophy is simple: functional bags stripped of unnecessary details that truly serve daily life. We measure the value of a bag not by seasonal trends, but by its ability to still be used years later. Therefore, instead of producing fast-fashion, disposable items, we prefer to craft a small number of designs in depth, engineering every detail—from the stitching to the buckle—with durability in mind. As a natural result of this approach, we provide a 2-Year Craftsmanship Warranty on every bag we stand behind: stitching, buckles, and zippers are covered under this warranty.

Today, Gillario continues production in its workshop in small, controlled batches. Each order is prepared with the same care as it was on the day we started, and orders placed before 2:00 PM are handed over to the courier on the same day. Our 14-day unconditional return and exchange policy is there so you can make your decision with the same confidence once you hold the product in your hands.
